Tehran Appreciates Regional Efforts and Demands Guarantees for the Implementation of the Ceasefire Agreement
The Iranian diplomatic leadership conducted a series of intensive telephone consultations with counterparts in Egypt, Iraq, and Turkey, expressing gratitude for the pivotal role these capitals played in supporting the negotiation track that led to the de-escalation agreement. During these calls, Tehran stressed the necessity of the United States' strict adherence to implementing all provisions of the agreement. It emphasized the priority of an immediate and comprehensive cessation of all destabilizing military activities in the region, specifically in Lebanon. The regional parties agreed on the importance of sustaining joint diplomatic coordination to monitor developments and safeguard the agreement, coinciding with official announcements from Washington confirming the completion of understandings and the entry into force of measures lifting maritime restrictions.
