High-Ranking Military Delegation Discusses Security of Oil Companies and Export Resumption in Erbil
The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, received a federal military delegation headed by the Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, to discuss the security file of oil companies operating in the region. The delegation's visit, directed by the Federal Prime Minister, Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, aims to enhance coordination with the Peshmerga forces to secure the necessary guarantees for the resumption of oil production and exports. Barzani praised the victories achieved by the Iraqi army and the joint coordination with the Peshmerga, emphasizing the importance of efforts to resume oil exports to support the national economy. The meeting underscored the necessity of implementing strict joint security plans to maintain stability and confront security challenges.
