Arab Parliament Praises Jeddah Summit Decisions and Affirms Absolute Support for Gulf Security

The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, highly appreciated the strong contents carried by the final statement of the 19th Consultative Summit of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the city of Jeddah. Al Yamahi announced the Parliament's full support for the guaranteed right of Arab countries to protect their sovereignty and deter any foreign attacks, while emphasizing the importance of securing freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz to avoid any crises that could strike the global economy. He praised the pivotal role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in unifying Arab ranks and confronting shared challenges.
