Al-Sudani Congratulates Al-Zaidi.. Affirms Cooperation to Complete Government Formation

The outgoing Prime Minister issued a congratulatory statement on the occasion of Ali Al-Zaidi being tasked with forming the next government.

He stated in an official statement: "We extend our congratulations and best wishes to Ali Faleh Kazem Al-Zaidi, on the occasion of his nomination by the Coordination Framework forces, which represent the largest parliamentary bloc, and the issuance of the appointment decree by the President of the Republic to form the next government, wishing him success in his national mission."

He added: "We affirm our keenness to support all choices that are achieved through national consensus, which were the fruit of the wide and effective participation of our people in the previous legislative elections, just as we affirm our keenness to cooperate with Al-Zaidi during the appointment period to complete the requirements for his formation of the government."
